WMNR radio is partnering with the festival this year, helping us get the word out while we introduce you (if you’re not already familiar with it) to a great, listener-supported radio station that plays classic and classical music.

Hear festival acting chairman Peter Hawes and WMNR Radio host Bob Anderson in a conversation about the festival’s history and mission, the challenges of planning an event in a pandemic, the importance of grass-roots community support, and why the festival decided to present six world premieres instead of going big again this year. Hawes was Anderson’s guest on WMNR’s Fine Arts Forum on Sunday, September 5.

The show will be archived for a couple of weeks, and you can hear it online here. Click on the three menu lines at the top right corner of the page, scroll down and select “Sunday 6pm Fine Arts Forum-Sep 05.”
