Those of you who have met or spoken to her already know this, but we’re very fortunate to have Mia Sage Kriksciun working with us this summer as an intern, helping out in marketing and production. Mia’s a recent graduate of Middletown High School, a singer, photographer, cross-country track athlete and selfless community-service volunteer.
Mia came to us courtesy of the 2019 Arts Workforce Initiative (AWI), a paid internship program run by the Connecticut Office of the Arts. AWI provides Connecticut college students, emerging creative professionals and military veterans an opportunity to gain engaging, hands-on work experience at arts and cultural organizations throughout the state.
We’ll be sorry to lose her when she heads off to attend Wellesley College in the fall.
