Steve Van Ness has joined us as head of production. Steve is president of Impact Arts Events Group, which produces arts, community and cultural festivals; corporate events; and performing-arts programming, residencies and tours. He coordinated videography for the 2021 Guilford Performing Arts festival.
Steve, who’s also the founding president of the Clinton Arts Council, helped launch the Gathering of the Vibes festival in Bridgeport and has produced fairs and festivals at Breckenridge Mountain and other New England ski resorts, as well as the summer-long Celebrate Brooklyn concert series in New York. He also created Celebrate the Music, an interactive introduction to the orchestra for grade-schoolers; developed a contemporary dance residency in Vermont; and managed national tours for a Mumbai-based theater company, an Indian musical group, a British youth orchestra and a Russian country bluegrass band.
