Guilford Performing Arts Festival

Guilford native Schulyer Beeman performs Three Bags Full, his new cabaret show, which takes audiences on a roller coaster ride of his life, flipping between jobs of handling animals on stage for the theatre and sheep farming. The show serves up a large helping of touching and funny storytelling, with songs from musical theatre, standards and pop to pull everything together.

Artist Bio

Schuyler Beeman is a singer, dancer and actor with a passion for sheep farming. He’s brought these all together as an animal handler for the stage, and has been on tour with Isabella Rossellini as her dog handler and puppeteer in the whimsical show, Link Link Circus. The show explores animal cognition and communication—which is also something of the theme of the cabaret show/dramatic memoir Three Bags Full, that he’ll perform at the festival. A Guilford native, he performed his solo cabaret show Home for the town’s 375th birthday celebration in 2013.
