Blues-infused Americana duo Living With Robots (Sandy Connelly and Ted Ervin) will perform family-friendly and deep cover-track songs, connecting to the audience with humor and energy. Sandy and Ted are busy local musicians and teachers, as well as dedicated promoters of the local music scene.
Ted’s jam-band bent and Sandy’s pop/rock/blues style reflect the influences of songwriters like The Wood Brothers, Lucinda Williams, Rickie Lee Jones and Tom Waits. Sandy, originally trained as an opera singer, found her calling as a blues and rock n’ roll singer and guitarist. She plays with many Shoreline musicians, and performs as one of the three divas with Washboard Slim & The Bluelights Roots Diva Show. Ted sits in with many Connecticut-based groups, such as Take Two & Call Me in the Morning, The Repeat Offenders and another festival act, Submarine.
